Seville, it's official

I am going to Seville in May, to visit my best friend.
I'm excited because it will be the first time travelling abroad with my other best friend.

seems childish to say "best friend", especially when referring to multiple people but... they are. they are dear to me like nobody else is.

We will stay there 5 days, counting the Friday and Tuesday needed to arrive and depart. I can't wait!

E io ero già partito senza il tempo di arrivare

I am determined to write my thoughts and memories right there and then. I'll use my phone's notes app to jot down some important details and thoughts when we get back from the day out and get in bed, before going to sleep. That way it should be easier to write an actual post on here, on my return — trying to avoid what happened with my trip to Iceland, which I still can't seem to be able to write about.

P.S. when switching from Arch to Ubuntu 20.04 (needed for my thesis work, sigh) I lost all the drafts I had prepared for this blog. Almost like a divine intervention, rewarding me — or punishing, can't decide — for what I wrote some days ago.

Lastly, I can't help but feel some guilt for spending money so carefree while struggling to graduate.
